Danfoss VLT FC302 — Alarm 13 Overcurrent
Occurs when the drive output current exceeds the peak limit. Short ramp, mechanical impact or motor/cable issues trigger it.

- Alarm 13 on acceleration/load impact
- Occurs with motor connected
- Frequent in high-dynamic applications
Probable Causes
- Too-short ramp-up time (par. 3-41)
- Mechanical impact / sudden load
- Motor cable short
- Output-stage failure
Checkpoints
- Increase ramp-up time (par. 3-41)
- Measure motor cable insulation
- Assess the output stage with a no-motor test
Solution
If cable/motor are healthy, the power board (IGBT + driver circuit) is tested in the lab.
