SCADA, MES and Cloud Integration

The data your machines produce often stays inside the PLC. We collect it and transfer it to SCADA, MES or cloud-based systems so you can monitor production, downtime and alarms from one place. Besides new machines, we also bring older machines without a network connection into this structure.

Scope of service

  • Collecting production counts, status, downtime reasons and alarm data from PLCs
  • Transferring data to SCADA systems
  • Exchanging production and traceability data with MES
  • Transferring data to cloud-based monitoring and reporting systems
  • Communication infrastructure for older machines and the necessary program additions on the PLC side
  • Updating HMI screens with this data

First clarify which question you want answered

Starting with clear questions such as "Why does the line stop?", "How much do we produce per shift?" or "Which batch was made with which parameters?" determines which data goes to which system and keeps the project from growing unnecessarily. We define these questions with you during the survey.

Network security

When connecting the production network to the office network or the cloud, network segmentation and access rights must be planned as part of the project. Uncontrolled external access to the control system is a risk that can stop production.

How we work

  1. 01

    Survey

We review the machines, existing PLCs, network structure and the questions to be answered.

  2. 02

    Data list and architecture

We define which data is taken from where and which system it goes to.

  3. 03

    Implementation

We prepare the PLC program, communication and the connection to the target system.

  4. 04

    Commissioning and verification

We verify on site that the data flows correctly and continuously, then hand over.

Frequently asked questions

Can data be taken from older machines too?

In most cases, yes. Machines without a network connection may need an additional communication module or gateway and additions to the PLC program; we assess this together during the survey.

Can you work with our existing SCADA or MES system?

Yes. We review your system and its data exchange method during the survey and prepare the machine side to fit this structure.

Send us your request
