Danfoss VLT FC302 — Alarm 8 DC Link Undervoltage
Occurs when the DC-link drops below the lower limit. Supply sag, phase loss or capacitor ageing is the cause.

- Alarm 8 on power/load
- Frequent during supply fluctuations
- Stop under load
Probable Causes
- Supply voltage sag
- Input phase loss
- Capacitor ageing
- Soft-charge (precharge) circuit failure
Checkpoints
- Measure mains under load
- Verify input phases
- Inspect the precharge circuit
Solution
If mains is healthy, the precharge circuit and capacitors are checked at board level.
